We are looking for someone who:

· Is qualified to at least Level 3

· Has experience of working in a day nursery

· Is dynamic & truly passionate about early years

· Is a team player – teamwork is one of our central values

· Has the confidence/knowledge &/or experience to work with electronic nursery management system (we love using Famly)

Ideally, you will also have

· Knowledge &/or experience of ‘In The Moment Planning.’ (Don’t worry if you don’t but it is important that you know this is the way we ‘do our planning’)

The day-day role of an Early Years Practitioner

  • To ensure that you provide the very highest quality of teaching, care & education
  • To promote an environment that is stimulating & inclusive for all

· Build & maintain excellent relationships with parents

· Promote safeguarding procedures & the importance of child welfare

· Work a flexible shift pattern within the nursery opening hours (7am – 7pm). We tend to work (& love it too) 4 days, giving us an extra day off every week!

What you will need to bring with you:

· Previous experience working with children (in a day nursery)

· Level 3 Early Years qualification or above

· Genuine passion for early years education & making a difference to the lives of young children

· Drive to keep wanting to do better

· Positive outlook (someone who always sees the glass as half full)

· A love for customer service (you want to make people feel happy)

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Practitioner – Bank / Adhoc cover to join our team.

We already have a fantastic team of practitioners, who cover holidays, sickness and other absence and we are looking to increase the numbers in our bank team. You can either already have experience of working with children or be brand new to childcare.

We need someone who can work flexibly Monday to Friday. We would ask you to be flexible with us and in return we would be flexible with you. That is in essence that we are all about – team work, understanding, flexibility, commitment.

  • You could confirm the number of hours that you would want to work the following week, and
  • You could even ask us a minimum that we are likely to guarantee.
  • You could also set the maximum that you would want to work, and this could change over time.

  • Wants the flexibility of working hours during the week between the hours of Monday to Friday
  • Already has experience working with children and wants something more flexible to work around their other life commitments or

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous General Assistant / House Keeper experience working in either a day nursery, school or hotel
  • Is flexible, all-year round (this is not a term time only position).
  • Has a good, solid working knowledge commercial cleaning/laundry/food prep
  • Is dynamic & truly passionate about young children & early years
  • Is self-directed, as well as a team player – teamwork is one of our central values
  • Has a high attention to detail
  • Can multi-task & is unruffled by multiple interruptions

Ideally, you will also

  • Have experience of closely following health & safety/COSHH/following risk assessments
  • Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate

The day-day role of a General Assistant

  • To prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children.
  • To clear down the kitchen after meals, ensuring the kitchen is closed down cleanly & safely for the end of the day.
  • Undertake any evening laundry duties.
  • Undertake any cleaning of the children’s toys, because of our COVID arrangements.
  • Cover in the rooms with the children to help maintain our adult: child ratios.

What you will need to bring with you:

  • Previous experience working in a house keeper/cleaning/kitchen porter function either in a: day nursery, school office, hotel
  • Genuine passion for ‘a job well done’ & making a difference to the lives of young children
